The cigar gets its name from its Corojo de Oro binder—the first of its kind—meaning “golden leaf” in Spanish. This rare tobacco is exclusively grown in our fields in the Dominican Republic and was cultivated by crossing two Habano seeds, Corojo 97-98 and Pelo de Oro.
While the binder is the star of this four-country blend, Corojo de Oro also features a complex mix of Brazilian, Dominican, and Nicaraguan tobaccos, all encased in a rich Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.

There are two main focuses when traveling with cigars: keeping them protected and at proper humidity levels.
If you plan on smoking your cigars within a few days of the trip, any sealed plastic bag will do. They should also be placed in a firm container, such as a cigar box or tube, to keep their shape.
If you’re a frequent traveler or are going on a longer trip, we recommend purchasing a travel humidor and humidification packs.
